Aging isn’t for sissies. It seems like yesterday I was playing music with my first band in Chicago in my 20s.
My journey back to renewed energy, focus and stamina.
Now, I’m a 60-year-old man. I have grown children. I have grandchildren!
I still love playing music. But the lyrics don’t come to me as easily anymore. In fact, learning new songs requires A LOT of focus I didn’t need in my youth. And then I have to deliver them in a three-minute time span in front of potentially a couple hundred people. No pressure, right?
About five months ago, a friend turned me on to Encour. It was good timing. During the lockdown, I wanted to keep my strength and my endurance up, especially since everyone was just sitting around the house all day. I’m a supplement guy and am always on the lookout for the latest supplements. In doing a little bit of research on Encour, I saw that it contains creatine which boosts T-cells in your body, your first line of defense. Plus, I wouldn’t have to worry about my Vitamin C because 100% of it is in the packet that I take every day.
I stay in shape by swimming. There was about a five-month span that I didn't swim at all. I was really nervous about getting back in the pool. Keep in mind, before Encour, I would do the mile but have to stop a few times, maybe do it in three 500+-yard segments.
Literally the third day back in the pool, I was able to do the mile without stopping, which I’ve never done even in my 20s. There are times right now when I feel like I’m just flying through the pool. I’ve got so much energy, stamina and endurance. It’s amazing.
Another big difference is that my mental clarity is better. Before Encour, I just wasn’t able to learn the same number of songs every week that I am now.. Recently, I had the most words I’ve ever had to sing and I didn’t need the lyric sheet, at all.I now have that really sharp focus to be able to deliver the song the way it’s supposed to be delivered with confidence.
I used to be a big coffee drinker. Since I started taking Encour, I’m down to a single 10-ounce cup of coffee in the morning (because I do love the taste of coffee) but right next to it is Encour.
We all need to drink more water, especially in the morning to rehydrate. What I love about Encour is that it keeps me hydrated. I pour 20 ounces of water, mix in the delicious packet of Encour, and that just sits right next to my coffee. I drink them at the same time.
I feel like 60 is the new 50. I really feel I have incredible energy, incredible stamina, incredible focus. I don’t feel like I’m aging at all to be honest with you. Encour will absolutely remain part of my daily regimen.
