4. I noticed there is a small amount of sugar in the formula, why does this product contain sugar?
Encour PowerTabs are formed by pressing our formulated powder in a tablet press. Without something sticky, the tablets would fall apart.
A very small amount of dextrose (around 2 grams per tablet) is used as the natural "glue" to hold the tablet together. The sweetness is subtle.
If you are managing your blood sugar levels, you may want to use these tablets spread throughout your day, rather than all at once.

5. There are some larger particles in the tablets, will those affect absorption?
No, it won't impact the absorption of the German Creatine or the Vitamin C.
The particles of creatine vary in size. In our drink powders, this variability in particle size helps make the PowerStix easier to pour.
In the PowerTabs formulation, the various particles can be sensed by the tongue. This is different for some people who expect the Creatine would dissolve like sugar upon contact. It takes simply takes longer to dissolve.
Creatine performs differently than sugar. It will be absorbed eventually, but just not as fast as dumping sugar in hot tea.
